Basic Waterproofing Products LineSANI-TRED products are the coating and sealing materials you've always wanted, thought should exist but could never find them until now! Compare tensile strength with any other products in the world. SANI-TRED products are permanently flexible, solvent-free, non-hazardous, non-flammable, odor-free, or low odor which makes them safe enough to allow them to be used in environmentally sensitive locations and shipped easily and economically virtually anywhere in the world. The combination of these basic standard SANI-TRED products properly applied to floors and walls allows all surfaces to be joined together in a seamless fashion with no cracks or joints remaining. BASIC PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DETAILED INFORMATION 1. SANI-TRED Permaflex is a 1 part, thick, liquid rubber "ULTRA ADHESIVE" paint-like coating. After cure, there is little resemblance to paint. If solid cured Permaflex could be removed from it's applied surface, it would be in the form of sheets that may be pulled and stretched and is extremely pliable and tough. Two of the most important qualities of Permaflex are flexible penetration technology and elongation memory, meaning that it stretches and returns to it's original size and shape. A good analogy of Permaflex is "a roll-on or brush-on swimming pool liner" but with permanently bonded adhesive strength! Try that with paint chips. Permaflex bonds permanently to the surface of all standard building materials. Basic Permaflex Colors

The block was then broken in half to show it's internal cross section. Notice the penetration of the red Permaflex throughout the entire block!
Permaflex "deep penetration" "o-ring fingers" seen here penetrating about 1-1/2" The unique adhesive and penetrative properties of Permaflex allows SANI-TRED to provide a complete water tight vapor barrier. This vapor barrier eliminates exterior humidity, as well as hydrostatic pressure, from migrating through concrete walls. This visible vapor barrier seal is especially beneficial and revolutionary because of it's ability to completely seal, waterproof and protect the interior of walls and floors with a smooth, seamless, easy-to-clean, surface. After application and cure, Permaflex leaves a thick layer of smooth rubber approximately four times the thickness of a household garbage bag, (up to 15 mils thick). An accurate description of Permaflex is "a roll on flexible liner that bonds permanently to the surface". Permaflex is solvent-free, like SANI-TRED LRB, which makes it as odor free as latex paint. Unlike paint or other types of coatings, SANI-TRED Permaflex is unique due to it's properties of an ULTRA ADHESIVE liquid rubber coating with permanent "ELONGATION MEMORY Normal Application Rate per Coat: (240 sq. ft. per gal on wood or concrete, 300 sq. ft. per gal steel) Available Container Size

2. SANI-TRED LRB
(Liquid Rubber Base) (for heavy filling, sealing used outdoors or indoors for HD waterproofing and sealing)
Liquid LRB May Be Activated With Plain Tap Water for Solid Cure in 4 Hours to form solid shapes of all shapes and colors (OR)
LRB is Blended with 50% TAV to Produce Heavy Duty, Adhesive, Caulk-Like Mixtures for Filling and Sealing Large Voids, Cracks, Joints and Depressions on Vertical or Inverted Surfaces
A popular method of distributing bulk LRB/TAV mixture is to use heavy duty zip-loc bags and clip the corner to produce a disposable applicator like a "mortar bag". This gives the convenience of caulking tubes without the high packaging cost. Large zip-loc bags can hold over 1 gallon of bulk mixture. LRB & TAV Adhesive Caulk Mixture Applied at any thickness, cures to solid rubber in 4 hours or in as little as 5 minutes by using special catalysts
A red colored stripe of LRB is poured next to two previously cured strips of LRB upon lubricated glass, allowed to cure, and then cut cross length into individual test strips. In this demonstration, notice the molecular bond LRB has new new-to-old, the LRB test strip was stretched to the breaking point and broke other than at the molecularly welded seams! SANI-TRED LRB is a truly unique product. No other material in the world has all of the qualities and abilities of LRB. SANI-TRED LRB is an odor-free, 1 part liquid that cures uniformly in under 4 hours at any application thickness, throughout its entire volume, (like concrete cures), to form a permanently bonded, solid "rubber" product with the same permanent flexible rigidity of truck tires, "shore A" 65 with 650% elongation. and Elongation Memory. Liquid LRB has a pot life of about 1 hour after activation with TAV. Unused and non-activated portions of opened LRB containers have a usable shelf life of 4-to-6 months. Use SANI-TRED LRB for filling large cracks and joints or to provide cushioning to floors. LRB can fill and seal virtually any size wall or floor crack. SANI-TRED LRB is available in its natural off-white color, and has a fluid consistency like 90 wt gear oil or liquid "Elmer's" glue. 3. TAV (Thickening ActiVator)
This product gives LRB great application versatility. TAV is a thick, blue colored, inert, odor-free, paste-like additive specifically designed and formulated to be blended with LRB at a rate of up to but not to exceed 33% or two-to-1 ratio. TAV alters the application viscosity of LRB to adjust the fluidity of LRB from a self leveling liquid for applications such as horizontal floor surfaces to a thick putty or caulk like mixture for vertical or inverted application without sagging, running or slumping. TAV is only blended with LRB at a 2-1 ratio of 2 parts LRB to 1 part TAV. Spray Grade TAV is more fluid than standard TAV with additional environmentally safe chemical additives. Spray Grade TAV allows a vertical application of a smooth uniform 1/16" (62 mils) maximum thickness of LRB and TAV on vertical surfaces, in one application without slumping. Spray grade TAV is also used for roofing, flooring and flat roofing systems. Spray grade mixture may be applied by hand or by Ideal's custom designed spray/pump/ extrusion equipment. 4. SANI-TRED Permaflex-AL
Basic Permaflex-AL Colors
(For exterior, colorfast, extreme UV resistant applications only!) is a 1 part, thick, liquid rubber "ULTRA ADHESIVE" coating with extreme UV and colorfast qualities. After cure, there is little resemblance to paint. Like Permaflex, if solid cured Permaflex-AL could be removed from it's applied surface, it would be in the form of sheets that may be pulled and stretched but almost unbreakable and is extremely pliable and tough, even stronger than Permaflex with 5,000 psi tensile strength, but with slightly less stretch or elongation than Permaflex. Permaflex-AL bonds permanently to the surface of standard building materials and may be used as a paint replacement on both horizontal floors as a finish top coating or vertical surfaces with or without an Permaflex prime coat. Permaflex-AL Limitations:
5. Graded, Selected Rubber Granules (for textured floor installations)
Premium quality TBS/EPDM crumb rubber sized for various texture qualities and application use. 6. Quick-Patch (A Quick Curing, Rigid, Concrete Repair Fluid) Extremely strong 4,700 psi but still remains slightly flexible with 35% elongation. Bonds permanently to concrete, wood, metals, fiberglass, and rigid plastics. A scrap 500 lb Concrete Slab is used for this demonstration
A small area near the center is chiseled out to demonstrate the incredible strength of Quick-Patch.
Quick-Patch "side A" is quickly and easily blended with "side B" by simple hand blending with a plastic cup and spoon
Blended Quick-Patch is poured into the hole and at the same time a steel "S hook" is inserted in the repair just seconds before solidifying. The solidification process takes only 2 minutes.
15 minutes later, after full cure, the 500 lb concrete block is lifted by the "S Hook" locked to the concrete by Quick-Patch
